👀What’s a Teen Doing That Silicon Valley Isn’t?

This Teen Cracked the Code: Build What People Desperately Want

“This will be the next big thing!"

How many times have you heard someone say that? (And how many of those "things" actually became big?)

We all think we're Steve Jobs - that we can create demand out of thin air.

But here's the truth: Even Apple didn't create demand.

They tapped into our existing desire for:

  • Status

  • Simplicity

  • Beauty

We sit in their room dreaming up solutions... for problems that don't exist.

But The Real Formula is:

Don't build what YOU think is cool.

Build what people are already desperately trying to find.

Today, I'm sharing the problems people are actually willing to pay for.

📈 The AI Gold Rush Is Here

Listen up, because these numbers are wild:

The AI app market is about to explode from $2.81 Billion to $128.0 Billion by 2033.

That's not a typo.

We're talking about a 46.50% growth rate every single year.

But what does this mean?

The opportunity is massive, but the window is closing fast.

Three AI App Sectors Ready To Explode

Sector #1: AI Nutrition & Wellness The nutrition app space is screaming for disruption:

  • Smart Meal Tracking: Forget manual logging - think snap-and-track technology

  • Personalized Nutrition AI: Custom meal plans based on real-time health data

Sector #2: Healthcare AI Apps The healthcare industry is desperate for innovation.

  • AI Health Monitoring: Apps that predict health issues before they become serious

  • Medical Imaging Analysis: Help doctors diagnose faster and more accurately

Sector #3: Entertainment AI Apps This is the sneaky one everyone's overlooking:

  • Content Personalization: Netflix-style recommendations for everything

  • Social Media Filters: Next-gen effects that'll make TikTok look ancient Bonus: Entertainment apps have the lowest barrier to entry but massive viral potential.

We're at that perfect sweet spot where:

  1. The technology is mature enough to build

  2. The market is educated enough to get it

  3. The competition hasn't gotten insane... yet

💡 Pro Tip:

Look at the success story of a 17-year-old whose app received 1 million+ downloads and $12 million in revenue, which I will cover later in this edition.

If that doesn't scream opportunity, I don't know what does.

Drop your thoughts below! 👇

P.S. I'm sharing something interesting that will make you go “wow”, so stay till the end. Don't miss it.

Meet The 17-Year-Old Who's Making MyFitnessPal Sweat

I have a really cool story for you about a high school senior who's probably doing more before lunch than most of us do all day.

And trust me, this isn't your typical "teen entrepreneur" story.

If you have used MyFitnessPal you might know the struggle to log your meals in MyFitnessPal.

And the 17-year-old guy, Zach Yadegari felt that pain too. But instead of just complaining about it, he went and built something better “Cal AI”.

The Origin Story (Because Every Founder Has One)

10-year-old Zach was teaching coding for $30/hour.

Not bad for a kid who probably still had Pokemon cards in his pocket, right?

But what made this guy change his perspective was.

This kid watched "The Social Network" and had his mind blown.

Zuckerberg's story made him realize something huge: trading time for money wasn't the move.

Fast Forward to COVID (This is Where it Gets Good) While we were all binge-watching Tiger King, Zach:

  • Built an unblocked gaming site

  • Attracted 5 MILLION users

  • Sold it for six figures

Not your typical quarantine project, eh?

But Wait, There's More... Cal AI wasn't his first shot at the app game.

His previous app?

A David Goggins-style alarm clock that got 20K downloads in two weeks.

Nice warm-up.

Here's the thing about the nutrition app Cal AI - they've been sleeping on innovation. Like, seriously sleeping.

Cal AI changed the game with:

  • AI-powered image recognition

  • 90% accuracy (better than FDA-allowed nutrition labels!)

  • 1 MILLION+ downloads

  • $12M in annual recurring revenue

And remember, he built this while sitting in high school classes.

While other companies were throwing money at Facebook ads, Zach and his team went guerilla with influencer marketing.

His words "Big companies fail because they're not scrappy enough."

Coming from the kid managing 17 employees between algebra and lunch.

Why This Matters

Because right now, somewhere between TikTok and homework, the next generation of founders isn't just dreaming they're building.

And this guy is just getting started.

P.S. - Next time someone tells you you're too young to start something... well, you know what to tell them. 😉

🔹AI Learning

Looking at Cal AI's success story, one thing becomes crystal clear: The nutrition app market was begging for disruption.

But here's what most people miss: It wasn't just the AI that made it work.

It was building the right thing at the right time in the right way.

Let's break down how you can do it too.

First, The Reality Check

Building an AI nutrition app requires:

  • Technical knowledge (or a technical co-founder)

  • 3-6 months of development time

  • Some startup capital

  • A lot of coffee

But don't let that scare you. Let's break it down step by step.

🛠️ The Foundation: What You'll Need

1. The Tech Stack:

  • Frontend: React Native

    • Why? Build once, works on both iPhone and Android

    • Plus, huge developer community for support

  • Backend: Python

    • Why? Perfect for AI/ML integration

    • Massive libraries for everything you need

  • Database: PostgreSQL

    • Why? Handles relationships well

    • Scales beautifully as you grow

2. The AI Components:

  • Image Recognition: TensorFlow/PyTorch

  • Natural Language Processing: OpenAI API

  • Food Database: Custom + Public APIs
