I tested 3 AI landing page builders (one was shockingly good)
PLUS: My full test results revealed (and which tool won)
You're standing in an elevator with your dream client.
You have exactly 30 seconds to convince them.
Your palms are sweaty. Words tumble out.
The pitch is... decent?
But when they ask for your website, your stomach drops.
Because you know deep down your landing page isn't ready for this moment.
Question: Would you fix it if you could?
I think you would.
So why are you letting your landing pages stay broken?
P.S.: I’m sharing a complete test I ran on the three best AI tools….These tools are gonna make your landing page 10x better..So stay tuned till the last 😁
Let's be real.
Your landing pages are either helping visitors cross safely to become customers...
...or leaving them stranded in traffic, confused and ready to leave.
I know that hurt you, and you are struggling with it…
So I decided to test if AI could fix this problem.
Not just play around, I mean really test it on actual client work with real deadlines and conversion goals.
I spent three weeks building identical landing pages with Unbounce, Landingi, and Wix for the same product.
Then I ran traffic to see which one actually converted.
The results surprised me. But before I tell you which one won...
Let me show you what these tools actually do in the real world.
The Problem With Traditional Landing Pages
Before AI, you had three painful options:
Struggle with templates that never quite fit your needs
Learn complex design tools and coding
Hire expensive designers and wait for revisions
Each landing page took me 8-12 hours minimum. And clients still requested endless tweaks.
I know you can imagine yourself at this place…so let’s continue…
I needed something that could:
Create professional pages in minutes, not days
Generate persuasive copy that actually converts
Design with conversion psychology built-in
Adapt easily to client feedback
Three AI Contenders Enter The Ring
Here's who I tested:
→ Unbounce: The conversion-focused veteran with their new AI Smart Builder
→ Landingi: The all-in-one platform with comprehensive AI tools
→ Wix: The familiar website builder with new chat-based AI creation
For a fair test, I created a landing page for the same SaaS product with identical:
Target audience (marketing managers)
Core value proposition (time savings)
Call-to-action (free trial)
Basic branding elements
Then I measured what matters: real conversions from real visitors.
What I Discovered After Testing These Tools
Unbounce: The Conversion Champion
Setup Time: 47 minutes (vs. my usual 8+ hours)

I told Unbounce's Smart Builder I needed a landing page for "marketing automation software targeting mid-size businesses."
It immediately asked smart questions about my specific audience, pain points, and desired actions.
Then it generated 3 complete designs with actual psychology-driven copy.
The standout moment? When I told my audience struggled with "managing too many marketing channels," it created sections specifically addressing this pain point without me even asking.
Results: 4.8% conversion rate (from visitor to trial signup)
Where it excelled:
Generated persuasive headlines that actually resonated
Placed elements based on conversion data, not just aesthetics
Created mobile versions that converted nearly as well as desktop versions
Suggested A/B test variations I wouldn't have considered
The downsides:
Steeper learning curve than competitors
Fewer design customisation options than Wix
Higher monthly cost
Landingi: The Integrated Powerhouse
Setup Time: 38 minutes

Landingi took a different approach.
Instead of asking about my audience first, it focused on industry-specific templates. Then its AI tools helped optimize each element separately.
The SEO recommendations were surprisingly detailed, suggesting specific keywords and meta descriptions I wouldn't have thought of.
Results: 4.2% conversion rate
Where it excelled:
Most comprehensive set of AI tools (SEO, copy, image editing)
Best for running multiple campaigns simultaneously
Excellent integration with other marketing tools
Automated translation features for international campaigns
The downsides:
Less cohesive overall design strategy
Initial templates weren't as conversion-focused
Some AI features felt disconnected from each other
Wix: The Beginner's Dream
Setup Time: 32 minutes

Wix's approach felt like magic.
I simply typed: "Create a landing page for marketing automation software that helps companies manage multiple channels in one place."
And it generated a complete page in seconds.
The conversation felt natural, like talking to a designer who understood my business.
Results: 3.1% conversion rate
Where it excelled:
By far the easiest tool to use
Generated beautiful designs immediately
AI-generated visuals matched the copy themes
Most intuitive editing experience
The downsides:
Lowest conversion rate of the three
Limited advanced testing capabilities
Fewer conversion-specific features
The Unexpected Winner
Unbounce won on pure conversion rate, 4.8% versus my previous average of 2.9% with traditional methods.
But the real winner might be your specific situation.
Here's my honest advice after weeks of testing:
Choose Unbounce if:
Conversion rate is your absolute top priority
You're willing to learn a slightly more complex system
You need sophisticated A/B testing
You sell high-ticket items where conversion improvements matter more
Choose Landingi if:
You run multiple campaigns across different channels
SEO and traffic generation matter as much as conversion
You need one tool for many marketing functions
You market internationally in multiple languages
Choose Wix if:
You're new to landing page creation
Speed of deployment matters most
You need something extremely easy to use
Design quality is more important than conversion optimization
