🪰 Buzz Around AI
Arizona State University personalizes learning and advances research with ChatGPT
Wow, I can't help but wonder how different my school days would have been if ChatGPT had been around!
Arizona State University (ASU) is now bringing ChatGPT Edu into its classrooms.
Here's what's happening:
Students are using ChatGPT for:
Creating study guides & Preparing for exams
Getting help with research
Practicing interviews
Teachers are using it to:
Develop better lesson plans
Create custom AI assistants for their courses
Researchers are using it for:
Writing grant applications
Reviewing literature, Analyzing data & Editing papers.
It's amazing to think about how much easier some of these tasks would have been with AI help when I was in school!
ASU asked everyone if they wanted to use AI in their education, and almost everyone said yes.
They believe that in 50 years, education will be very different. It would be more diverse, tech-heavy, and something we'll do throughout our lives.
What matters here is:
By getting students used to using AI tools like ChatGPT. They are making sure that today's students will rely on their technology in the future.
It's kind of like how Microsoft got us all used to using Windows by putting their computers in schools.
While some schools are trying to keep AI out, others like ASU are welcoming it with open arms.
I can't help but feel a little jealous of students today - having a super-smart AI assistant to help them. But it's also exciting to see how education is evolving.

Google just blew my mind with their latest AI trick! Google's brainiacs have cooked up this AI called GameNGen.
And guess what?
It's recreating DOOM in real time! I'm talking about making the game as you play it.
What Cool About It:
The AI makes the game run smoothly, just like the real thing.
It works on just one computer chip.
People couldn't tell the difference between the AI game and the real game in short videos.
Why Is This Amazing?
This is the first time an AI has made a complex game in real time without using a real game engine. Soon, AI might be able to make brand-new games just for you as you play!
😀AI Recap
Scientists made a new computer tool called AINU. It can look at pictures of tiny parts of cells and tell if they're healthy or not. It can spot cancer cells and even see if a cell is just starting to get sick from a virus.
Scientists are about to analyse more than 1.6 million pictures of brains. They're using AI to help them. They hope this will help doctors spot dementia early and understand it better.
Elon Musk thinks there should be rules for really smart AI. He likes a new law in California about AI safety. He says the government should keep an eye on these super-smart computer programs, just like they check if other things are safe for people to use.

Hotshot Video Generator: The Latest AI Video Tool
What is Hotshot?
Hotshot is a new AI video generator that creates realistic videos from text prompts. But is it living up to the hype?
Key Features
3 free video creations per day
Ability to create beautiful, realistic videos from text prompts
How Does It Compare?
Prompt Adherence: Better than Luma Labs Dream Machine, but not quite as good as Runway & Kling
Quality: Impressive for simple scenes, but may not meet higher expectations
Pricing Plans
Free: 3 generations per day
Standard: 100 videos/month, unlimited daily generations, preset aspect ratios, commercial use allowed
Plus: 300 generations/month, includes all Standard features
The Real Talk
It's a bit pricey compared to other AI video tools out there
Quality's decent, but some of the old-timers in the game might have an edge
What's the Verdict?
Hotshot's got potential, for sure. But it's not exactly blowing the competition out of the water. Worth a shot if you're into this stuff, though!
